We made it safely to our new home in Michigan! The house is great, just really empty because our stuff isn't here yet. The nights are no fun because we don't have beds or a crib and the time change (3 hours) makes it impossible for the kids to fall asleep at bedtime-so we are all exhausted. Otherwise, all is well. Tyler's favorite thing about our new house is the laundry chute. He loves to sit in the basement and watch the dirty laundry fall from the ceiling-it's becoming a popular game. "Mom, will you play laundry chute with me?" Now if only we had our washer and dryer. . .

We Made It!
We made it safely to our new home in Michigan! The house is great, just really empty because our stuff isn't here yet. The nights are no fun because we don't have beds or a crib and the time change (3 hours) makes it impossible for the kids to fall asleep at bedtime-so we are all exhausted. Otherwise, all is well. We miss you guys!!!! I am really glad that you made it safe and sound, and I hope that your beds etc. get there soon! It sounds like Tyler loves his new place already! Gary says that only clothes go down the chute and not little brothers.

Okay, so we went to Cafe Rio today because I had a doc appt on that side of town and Mer asked if Tyler was going to come eat with us. We had to remind him that you moved and all he said was "OH". I think he is getting used to the idea. It made Michael and I sad. But he didn't get upset this time. We might call you this weekend so the boys can chat. My Grandma's house had a laundry chute... We use to play with it all the time. But beware every grandchild fell down it at one point in time. Glad to hear that you made it safely

I saw your blog on Danielle's and wanted to say Hi and Goodbye. It's hard to believe you guys are already gone. I'm glad that you made it there safe and sane. Hope things go well in Michigan. Who knows we may even end up there next year. Chris actually leaves the end of July for 3 months to go back there. We will cross our fingers. We'll keep in touch.
